We also have a covered pavilion. There is also plenty of room for park trailers. Roger’s Cabins is a “grand place to stay and play. We are located only two blocks from the public access boat ramps and less than one mile from the Pensacola Dam state park beach. Whether you enjoy boating, off road adventures, swimming, golfing, shopping, antiquing, quaint eateries, or simply resting and relaxing, Roger’s Cabins is your destination.
A History All Their Own
In 1938,
Oren and Grace Fye bought the cabins when construction began on the
Pensacola Dam. Mr It’s amazing that some of the cabins have been here since before the building of the dam. With all its grandeur, you just assume that the dam has been here longer. Roger’s Cabins is a deep-seeded part of the history of Disney and Grand Lake. Roger’s Cabins has been in the same family since 1038. But in 2006, John Scott purchased the cabins.
From Tulsa: · Take I-44 East toward Joplin (28 miles). · Take Adair exit, Exit No. 269. · Turn Left onto Highway OK-28 going East · Follow highway OK-28 into Langley. · At ‘Y’ in the road, turn Right (South). OK-28 merges with Hwy OK-28 · Follow OK-28/OK-82 approximately 2 miles, then turn Left on OK-28. · Follow OK-28 across the Pensacola Dam and into Disney, OK. · Approximately ½ mile Roger’s Cabins will be on the Right side of the street.
From Joplin: · Take I-44 toward Tulsa (47 miles) · Take Vinita exit. Exit No. 289 · Turn Left onto Highway OK-82 (4 miles). · Follow OK-82 South into Langley (11 miles) · Turn Left onto OK-28 East. · Follow OK-28 East across the Pensacola Dam and into Disney, OK. · Approximately ½ mile Roger’s Cabins will be on the Right side of the street.

Check – Out: 11:00 a.m.
Reservation & Cancellation Policy Reservations are held until 4:00 p.m. on the scheduled day of arrival, unless held with a credit card or pre-paid in full.
ALL NO CALL/NO SHOWS WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE RESERVATION. Any such cabin will become available for rent at such time.
Pets When making reservations; please tell us if you will be bringing your pet. We have limited accommodations for pets. Pets left in cabin must be in a kennel box. Pets must be on a leash outside cabins. Pets are not allowed to be tied up outside. We reserve the right to refuse some pets. There is an additional $10.00 fee for pets.

Lake O’ The Cherokees. Roger’s Cabins offer “grand” lodging for
those who love the outdoors and rustic cabin lodging. The cabins are
equipped with linens, bathrooms with showers, heat & air,
refrigerators, microwaves, cable TV and grills are available for
your use.

Fye told the man who originally built the cabins that if they build
the dam, he’d buy the cabins, and that’s what he did. There were
three original cabins, including the number 5 cabin which was
originally used as a shower house for the men building the dam.
